CAMBIO VALUTA

Per il cambio valuta vai nei centri commerciali o ai bancomat delle banche.


Evitate l'aeroporto e gli hotel, il tasso di cambio è meno vantaggioso.


Chiedi o controlla la tariffa di cambio prima di ogni operazione, non dimenticare la ricevuta.


Soliramente il costo di cambio migliore per operazione, è di 3/4 dirham (1 euro circa)


Quando paghi con carta ti verrà chiesto se preferisci pagare in euro o dirham, scegli sempre la valuta locale (dirham) il tasso di cambio sarà più vantaggioso.

Non ci sono restrizioni per l'abbigliamento a Dubai, ad esclusione dei luoghi di preghiera che richiedono gambe, braccia e testa coperte

SCHEDA SIM E INTERNET

A Dubai in tutti i luoghi turistici è presente il wifi, ad es: centri commerciali, ristoranti, beach club, hotel, ma se vuoi usare internet anche al di fuori dei locali pubblici ti consiglio di fare una sim dati una volta arrivato in aeroporto.


La Compagnia Virgin offre una sim turistica tra le migliori per prezzo e giga, l'offerta più acquistata ed economica è | Durata 7 giorni - 21GB - Limite 3GB al giorno - 30 minuti per chiamate locali - 20 minuti per chimate internazionali - costo 37 euro circa |


WHATSAPP E CHIAMATE DALL'ITALIA

Le chiamate audio/video e FaceTime non funziona negli Emirati, ad eccezione che installi una VPN.


Puoi scaricare l'applicazione Botim per chiamate audio e video, ma ti servirà una sim con internet.


Per chiamare dall'Italia a Dubai 00971 + numero di telefono - per chiamare da Dubai in Italia digita 0039 + numero di telefono.


TAXI ATTENZIONE A QUALI PRENDETE

I taxi ufficiali a Dubai hanno tutti il tassametro, sono generalmente di colore beige e con scritta RTA che è la compagnia statale per i mezzi pubblici degli Emirati.

Le tariffe variano in base alla fascia oraria, intorno ai 5 o 5,5 AED (1,40€) più 2 AED (0,50€) per chilometro.


Careem è la Uber degli Emirati, potete prenotare il taxi dall'app e sapere il prezzo che pagherete, di solito la corsa costa tra 3/5 euro in più dei taxi statali RTA.


Esistono anche altre tipologie di taxi, hanno per la maggiore auto nere eleganti che spesso non usano tassametro e ti fanno pagare la stessa corsa il doppio o il triplo rispetto ai taxi ufficiali.


NOLEGGIO AUTO

Come in America, anche a Dubai la maggiore età è di 21 anni, quindi per noleggiare un'auto devi avere 21 anni.


Per il noleggio è richiesta la carta di credito con plafond disponibile.


PAGAMENTI CON CARTA

Le carte di pagamento a circuito Visa e Mastercard sono accettate ovunque, anche le prepagate vanno bene.


È sconsigliata la postpay, potreste avere problemi per i pagamenti.


Consigliamo di avere due carte anche prepagate, cosi da essere preparati al mancato funzionamento di una delle carte. È preferibile avere una carta Visa e una Mastercard


La migliore carta per viaggiare in Europa e nel mondo è Revolut, non ha commissioni di cambio valuta dal lunedì al venerdì ed è accettata ovunque.


DOCUMENTI DI VIAGGIO

Per i cittadini italiani passaporto con validità residua di almeno 6 mesi, non serve alcun visto

A Dubai i giorni di settimana, quindi lavorativi, sono da Domenica a Giovedì

Venerdì e Sabato sono i giorni feriali negli Emirati, è il weekend per i residenti

ASSICURAZIONE SANITARIA

È assolutamente consigliato munirsi di assicurazione sanitaria prima del viaggio, gli ospedali sono privati, a pagamento e molto costosi
